JCI Elite members are ambitious. They are committed enough to their own personal development that they spend their free time and money undertaking activities aimed at making them the best they can be.
JCI Elite members have the opportunity to gain practical business experience. The organisation is run like a business, albeit one not aimed at making profit. Each local chamber is run by a board of directors, who collectively make decisions about the way in which the organisation is run for the benefit of its members, including financial decisions, marketing and corporate identity.
JCI Elite members are interested in their local community. JCI’s mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change and its members regular hold community and fund-raising events aimed at giving back to the local community. The chamber also undertakes business visits to learn from successful local entrepreneurs and forms partnerships with local organisations.
